Overview
Welcome to Connections Global
Connections Global seeks to equip and empower congregations in Israel and abroad to live out the great commission from their homes. By developing cooperations with churches around the world, traveling Israelis are introduced to the Christian faith through love and hospitality. Upon their return to Israel, special events by the local congregations provide a greenhouse for the Gospel seed sown abroad to grow (1 Corinthians 3:6).
Who We Are
We are a team of dedicated Jesus-disciples from Jerusalem Assembly – House of Redemption (Jerusalem, Israel) who love the God of Israel, God’s Word, and God’s pinnacle of creation – humanity.
In likeness to the first church based in Jerusalem (Acts 2:42-47), we seek to reach out to our fellow Israeli people (Romans 1:16, Isaiah 2:3), and by the unity we as Jesus-disciples share with our brothers and sisters around the Globe – be a testimony of Jesus Christ’s love (John 13:35).
What We Do
Connections Global has a fourfold mission through establishing strategic partnerships to:
- Minister physical and spiritual comfort to Israelis outside of Israel (Isaiah 40:1-11)
- Utilize hospitality, outdoor adventures, the art of music, and events for relational outreach
- Provide relational faithward follow-up through local congregations in Israel
- Provide biblical equipping, advocacy, and resources for cooperating churches
The regional reality in the Middle East (and thereby in Israel) is one that is mostly intense and demanding. Following the Good Samaritan illustration (Luke 10:25-37), if we seek access to one’s guarded heart, we must first demonstrate sincere care for the whole person (mind, body, soul). Later in this illustration, it’s in the inn that the innkeeper fosters and facilitates the care, atmosphere (and in our case, the message of salvation) to the person in need.
How We Do It
Connections Global operates on two parallel avenues:
- Outside Israel (globally): through the cooperative SAFE H.O.M.E. Network, utilizing the fourfold relational outreach method: Hospitality, Outdoors, Music, and Events.
- In Israel (locally): through a network of “BASE Connectors” (mentored Israeli Jesus-disciples). Upon the Israeli travelers’ return, the BASE Connectors continue the faithward follow-up.
Intentionally written songs about the impact of nature, beauty, hardships, and circumstances on the heart performed in a reconnecting event, are one of the main tools Connections Global utilizes in Israel.
Those will set the atmosphere and space for natural and organic conversations between the non-believing Israelis and the “BASE Connectors,” thus encouraging faithward follow-up, and the growing impact of the local Israeli congregation among the nation of Israel.
WHY WE DO IT
01.
Wandering Souls
After their military service, about 50,000 Israelis take a big trip somewhere in the world every year. They must decompress, get away, and prepare for life’s next stage. These journeys often become a time for new perspectives.
02.
Welcoming Hosts
Fellow Christians across the globe have experienced the faith-fruit of genuine authentic hospitality, and have established a hosting network to invite the Israeli traveler into their home, heart, and hopefully – faith.
03.
Faith Journeys
The “away-from-Israel” context provides many opportunities to pursue deep faith conversations with Israeli travelers, as they are far more relaxed and open to exploring different cultures, landscapes, and people.

New Openess
A Brief History...
In 2019, Jael Kalisher traveled to New Zealand and learned about the outreach ministry of hosting Israelis. There, God planted the blueprint of Connections Global in her heart. For the next four years, Jael built Connections Global foundations, presented it to relevant international organizations and local Israeli pastors, and pursued this vision.
As the mission statement states, Connections Global utilizes the gift of hospitality and the beauty and adventure of the outdoors, but how does music come into play?
An experience captured in an impacting song will always bring up the memory of the first time it was heard. Especially if the lyrics touch on all the heart questions one encounters on a trip to the other side of the world. In early 2023, Jael wrote twelve songs to be used as outreach tools that lead to faith conversations.
On January 18th, 2025, the lead Pastor Meno and his wife Anat were prayed over and blessed to join Jael in the first Connections Global relational outreach team to New Zealand to develop church-to-church cooperation for the sake of the safe H.O.M.E. network.
