OVERVIEW
Welcome to Connections Global
Connections Global brings together churches and individuals worldwide to welcome Israeli travelers into genuine relationships through hospitality, shared experiences, and everyday life.
Through a framework that can be adopted globally and adapted locally, we help create meaningful connections between Israelis and Christian communities abroad, with the intention that those relationships will continue after they return to Israel.
Our goal is to make global outreach and local follow-up one continuous ministry pathway – from an initial welcome and friendship abroad to continued relationship, exploration of the message of Jesus Christ, connection with Christian community in Israel, and ultimately discipleship.
(1 Corinthians 3:6).
Who We Are
Connections Global grew out of the vision and ministry of Jerusalem Assembly – House of Redemption in Jerusalem, Israel, and continues from that same heart for God, His Word, the people of Israel, and the nations. We are a Christian ministry framework shaped by a love for Jesus, a commitment to Scripture, and a desire to see believers across nations serve together with humility, generosity, and genuine love. (Ephesians 4:4-6)
At our core, we are relational. We believe meaningful ministry grows through trust, shared life, faithful witness, and cooperation within the Body of Christ, with a shared desire to see Israelis encounter Jesus and grow in connection with believers in Israel. (John 13:35)
What We Do
Connections Global is a Christian ministry framework that helps churches and individuals worldwide participate together in outreach and follow-up with Israelis. Adopted globally and adapted locally, the framework gives each community room to serve according to its own people, culture, gifts, and opportunities while remaining connected to one shared purpose.
(1 Corinthians 3:6-9)
Through this framework, we: (Ephesians 4:11-13)
- Mobilize and equip churches, families, and individuals to build meaningful, culturally sensitive relationships with Israelis.
- Create opportunities for connection through hospitality, shared experiences, common interests, and the natural sharing of life and faith.
- Encourage relationships to continue beyond a traveler’s time abroad rather than ending with a single encounter.
- Connect outreach abroad with follow-up in Israel, creating opportunities for continued friendship, exploration of the message of Jesus Christ, connection with local believers, and discipleship.
How We Do It
Connections Global works through a growing network of churches, families, volunteers, and ministry partners worldwide. Each location expresses the framework differently, shaped by its people, culture, gifts, and opportunities—through hospitality, outdoor experiences, shared meals, music, local activities, or other common interests. The framework provides a shared purpose and direction without prescribing a single model for every community. (1 Peter 4:10)
What begins abroad is intentionally connected to continued relationship in Israel. As Israeli travelers return home, Connections Global helps create opportunities for those relationships to continue through local believers, Reconnect gatherings, shared-interest activities, and other relational settings that allow friendship, spiritual conversation, and discipleship to grow naturally over time. (1 Corinthians 3:6-9)
WHY WE DO IT
01.
A Season of Openness
Israeli travelers often spend significant seasons abroad exploring new places, people, and perspectives. Away from home routines, they often feel more open to meaningful relationships and conversations. Ecclesiastes 3:1
02.
The Power of Welcome
We believe the Great Commission is lived not only by going, but also by welcoming. Hospitality creates space to share everyday life, listen, learn from one another, and build genuine friendship and trust. Romans 15:7
03.
Relationships Open Doors
Genuine relationships can create opportunities to share the love and message of Jesus Christ naturally – through both words and a faith that is lived out in relationship. John 13:35
04.
The Journey Continues
We do not want those relationships to end when the trip does. Connections formed abroad can continue in Israel through friendship, Christian community, continued faith exploration, and ultimately discipleship. Matthew 28:19–20
A Brief History...
The vision for Connections Global began in 2019, when Jael Kalisher traveled to New Zealand and encountered a ministry that welcomed Israeli travelers through Christian hospitality. What began there as a small seed of an idea grew through prayer, relationships, and conversations with churches and ministry leaders in Israel and around the world – one of those “small beginnings” we are reminded not to despise in Zechariah 4:10.
In 2023, Jael met Becky Meissner in New Zealand, and the two recognized a shared heart for developing the vision further. Their relationship continued to deepen, new people joined the journey, and the foundations of Connections Global gradually took shape. In 2025, Becky joined Jael, Pastor Meno, and Anat Kalisher on a relational outreach trip to New Zealand, strengthening church-to-church cooperation and exploring how the vision could develop internationally. Over time, the story began to reflect Paul’s picture in 1 Corinthians 3: one plants, another waters, and God gives the growth.
In 2026, Connections Global moved from development into active testing through its first U.S. hosting pilot. Israeli travelers were welcomed into homes and communities, allowing the developing framework to be lived out in real relationships and helping shape how churches, hosts, and local communities could participate together in outreach and follow-up.
Today, Connections Global continues to grow as a Christian ministry framework connecting churches and individuals across nations around a shared purpose: building genuine relationships with Israelis abroad and helping those relationships continue after they return home through friendship, Christian community, and discipleship in Israel.
