Connections Global
A Ministry of Jerusalem Assembly
See lives transformed by the Gospel through Christian hospitability and the creative combination of intentionally composed songs and the outdoors thereby growing disciples
We Provide a Safe H.O.M.E.
Interact with Israeli travelers through one of the four main avenues (Hospitality, Outdoors, Music, Events), and invite them to a follow-up event back in Israel.
Hospitality
- At home / Camper / Casita / Cabin
- Shabbat Dinner / Holiday Eve

“Our hospitality on earth is meant to show people the hospitable heart of God. When we extend hospitality to strangers, to guests, and to those who are needy in different ways, we’re creating an environment that gives them a taste of what is available to them through God, the gracious Host.“ (Nancy Demoss Wolgemuth)
Whether by inviting home for a meal, sharing an extra room, or investing a few hours, hospitality can be shown in various ways, with friends, family members, or your church, and doesn’t require any more than what you’re willing to share.
Outdoors
- Soft Landing
- Regional Attractions
- Common Interest Activity (Hiking, Climbing, Surfing, etc.)
- Workshops (Food, Culture, etc.)

The outdoors context provides a multitude of opportunities to pursue deep faith conversations with Israeli nature adventurers, fostering meaningful connections through shared experiences in breathtaking landscapes.
Those who are drawn to the outdoors, tend to seek more adventures in new places, as well as explore flavours, cultures, and the people.
If you and/or your family members/friends/church host any kind of activity where you can invite guests to share in it – we encourage you to invite the Israelis traveling in your area.
Music
- Introduce to Connections Songs
- Host Connections Events
- For the Church: Host L.I.G.H.T. Event*
- Invite to “Reconnect Event”

Music and beauty captivate our attention, leaving us with a vulnerable memory of a truly unforgettable moment.
As a part of this ministry, twelve unique songs have been written. As these songs’ goal was to encapsulate the “big trip” experience (a long trip away from home), they can be used as conversation triggers or tools to explore and discuss one’s current heart posture towards God, and pave the road to faith.

International and regional events will serve as a launching pad for relational outreach, creating opportunities for meaningful and long-term follow-up in Israel.
Every conversation, however short or long, simple or deep, serves as a meaningful seed. If we follow Jesus’ parable of the Sower (Matt. 13) we gather that there are many seeds sown on various soils. 2 Cor. 9:6-15 further states that the amount of seeds planted determines the size of the harvest. What you do and say matters! We rely on your intentional “sowing” so that we can “water” these precious seeds back in Israel, so that by God’s grace and will – He will grow these seeds and we could reap a bountiful harvest for His glory.
Pray for the Launch
We are excited to launch the RECONNECT event (in Israel), and we ask for your prayers as we embark on this meaningful journey. This performance will feature inspiring, original music that encapsulates the essence of a transformative travel experience, taking listeners on a sonic adventure through new landscapes and cultures. Each piece is designed to evoke deep reflection and connection, inviting those in attendance to engage in conversation and share their own personal journeys. Through these compositions, we hope to spark a collective dialogue that extends far beyond the event hall, fostering a sense of unity, understanding, and fertile ground for faith and discipleship.
Your prayers for the impact of this event and the hearts it will touch are greatly appreciated as we seek to inspire and connect through God’s gift of music. (Colossians 4:3)
“Sow for yourselves righteousness; reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground, for it is time to seek the Lord, till He comes and rains righteousness on you.” (Hosea 10:12)
Over the years, other organizations have plowed the ground we now seek to sow in. While we do have avenues of collaboration, our main focus remains seeking a “church-to-church” cooperation. We do want to recognize and honor the profound commitment, investment, and contribution that these organizations have poured into this endeavor:
"WE HEARD THAT..."
“You want to tell me that you came all the way here to write songs that encapsulate what we both experienced so that you can invite me to an event back in Israel, where you create a bubble for me to pop into, forget about all my troubles and concerns, and just float in the bliss of the memory of New Zealand?? Where do I sign up??”
“While volunteering at the lodge, I met a backpacker who had been traveling alone for weeks, burdened by physical and emotional exhaustion. He arrived worn out but found a quiet place to rest and reflect. Through a few heartfelt conversations, he opened up about his travels and struggles. By the time he left, he seemed lighter, with renewed clarity and peace. It was amazing to see how a welcoming environment and simple hospitality helped restore his spirit, preparing him for the next chapter of his journey.”
A couple who had just completed their long and demanding military service came to the lodge. After years of discipline and sacrifice, they found themselves searching for deeper meaning in life, unsure of what their next steps should be. When they arrived, they were weary but full of questions, eager for a sense of direction and peace. Through honest conversations, moments of reflection, hiking the vast outdoors, and a bit of time to simply pause and breathe, the inevitable question came up - “what IS the Gospel?”
